   I had a Gold one 69 El Camino with 307 and you could just beat that to death and it still ran with High Jacker shocks so it sat up in the back ! Boy was it a great ride I wish I had it back ! Gregg

   I know what you mean.The first one I had was the `76,it had a 350 in it,air shocks on the rear and I had M50 tires on it,so it had a lot of rubber on the road--LOL.Only problem was when it rained,M50's combined with raised air shocks on an elcamino is not a good combination,no traction at all.My `66 had a 350 in it also,not factory of course,had 10 inch wide tires on the rear of it but no air shocks.I wish I still had both of those.the `73 Sprint was just a parts car,mainly bought it for the swivel seats to put in the `66.
